I Go Unto My Father Now You Must Find Me – Krishna Venta (Lecture, 1951)

St. John, Chapter 16: 1-16 inclusive. 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he
doeth God service. 16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them.
And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. 16:5 But now I go my way to him
that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? 16:6 But because I have said these things unto
you, sorrow hath filled your heart. 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for
if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 16:8 And when he
is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 16:9 Of sin, because they believe
not on me: 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more. 16:11 Of judgment,
because the Prince of this world is judged. 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear
them now. 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not
speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 16:14
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 16:15 All things that the Father hath
are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 16:16 A little while, and ye
shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. Interpretive/Sermon
Portion (corrected and formatted): Now, strangely enough, that is my mission today. Yet, these things have come.
They are beginning to work quite fervently. In fact, in Italy and in different parts of Europe and the world, they are
already throwing people out of the churches. In America, it is rapidly coming to the ill-repute of the churches.

And they are condemning the churches for the work that they represent. 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues:
yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. The dogma that has been wrapped
around mankind so long, and they have become so imbued with the concept of a certain religious belief, that anyone
who cometh in the name of the Lord or sayeth that they are a messenger of God are immediately condemned by the
peoples of the different denominations. Why? Because they did not come out of the church, but came from elsewhere
that man knoweth not where they came from. Neither does man know the Spirit that speaketh through them. So,
therefore, those individuals will be classified as false prophets, and they shall preach when the Son stands before
them that He is a false Christ and the truth is not in Him. So, to those prophets of old, who have returned back to
the earth to give unto mankind the true concept of God led by the Son of God as the Christ, shall both be accused
and condemned; and many shall be put to death. The people themselves will rise up as they did long years ago—
not so many years ago rather—when there was practice of sorcery and witchcraft in the New England States. The
multitudes of people stood around and watched human flesh burn at the stake and laughed while they were doing
it and thought they were doing God a favor by destroying a human life by the worst kind of torture—burning them
alive at the stake. Humans that were not witches or sorcerers, but humans who had the desire to do some good for
mankind, but their religious training said they were false. Had it not been for those very same people that were burned
at the stake, your medical science that you have today would not have advanced as far as it has. They were the
forerunners of the present-day medicine. They did a good. They lost their lives, and everybody thought that they
were doing a good for God. How much easier it would be today for a group of people to rise up and say, “He is a
false Christ! Let us dispose of Him!” or, “He is a false prophet. Let us dispose of Him!”

And in disposing of Him, they would laugh and say, “We have done God a favor.” In their own hearts, they would
believe that they had. But they have not known God, nor have they known me. For had they known God, and
known me, they would know that God works in strange ways, and that God worketh through the individual who
has no earthly ties. That God would work through the individual who is willing to serve Him, who is free from any
bondage of earthly concept. That is the one that God would work through—not through someone who is bound to
a religion, or bound to a race of people, or bound to a political party. Those who are bound are not free servants
of God, but are servants unto themselves; they know not God. 16:3 And these things will they do unto you,
because they have not known the Father, nor me. 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall
come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because
I was with you. Naturally, when I was with you, and I have been with you, the majority of you here, I have been
with you for almost a year, and I have been one among you. I have been as you, ready to come down and help
you, and for coming down to help you, I have been judged and condemned by many people for they have said,
“You are not the Son of God in the things that you do.” I have found you in despair. I have come down to your
level. I have not exalted myself above you, but have remained a humble servant beside you. When I came to
help you, I knew that I’d be condemned by others, yet I questioned not, but came, for the will of the Father was
that I should come to you. So, I’ve been with you and while being with you, I could not tell you of the many great
things that were yet to be told. All I did was to give you an understanding, a humble understanding. But now the
time has come that I must not be with you. That I must depart from you. I shall not depart from you in the flesh.
This flesh shall be close to you, but the spirit of me, the Real I that dwelleth within this house, shall now depart
from you. For, I must depart from you if I expect to give you the greater wisdom. No longer can I be as you. No
longer can I come down and be one among you—joking and laughing and having fun with you.

The hour and the day has come that I must return again unto my Father. Not in the flesh, but in the Spirit; thus, from
this day henceforth only those who know me inwardly—only those who knew the God—will be able to recognize me
and find the Comforter. For no longer will I tell jokes, no longer will I come down among you and be as you. Now I stand
in the true light and the spirit of God, and from this day henceforth, all things that proceedeth from my lips shall be
the words of God spoken. No longer am I going to place trials and tests before you. As I told you once before, that
within me was both the positive and the negative. I told you that I would test you for your sincerity, and I would also
teach you and train you concerning the laws. But now you stand alone children, in your ways of the world, and only
a few have drawn close to me. I cannot remain with you and cater to your vanities, your egos, and your personal
wants. I no longer can work and try to lift you up. The hour has come to a close that I must cease being the assistant
to you. As it was spoken—in a parable I would say—I rested on yon mountain peak exalted in the Spirit of God far
above you. One day, I looked down into the valley from the top of that peak which was in the throes of God, and my
Father said unto me, “Go ye down into the valley; be one with the children gathered there, and lift them up that they
might know Me and see the Light.” I questioned not my Father, but I journeyed from that mountain peak which was
the Truth of God—which was in the exalted form of God. And I wandered my way down into the valley wherein you
dwelled, and I became one in the midst of you, working beside you, working with you, helping you to find the light.
But my Father has called me back. I am now climbing that great mountain again, going back into the exalted place
beside my Father’s throne, for I go unto my Father. Those who knowest me now will receive the Comforter, for you
shall know that I am in the flesh, yet have exalted above the flesh. The Comforter will give you happiness and peace.
Instead of remaining down in the valley with its greed and its lust and its hate, you will begin to climb that mountain
side to reach me so that you might be with me.

FROM THIS DAY HENCEFORTH TO REACH ME, CHILDREN, YOU MUST EXALT YOUR THOUGHTS. YOU MUST
ELEVATE YOUR LIGHT INTO THE TRUE CONCEPT OF THAT WHICH YOU BELIEVE CONCERNS GOD, AND
THEN YOU SHALL FIND ME. But no longer will I come down to take you by the hand and lift you up. The laws are
becoming stricter and sterner every day. The last law that was given by the command of God was concerning those
individuals who are near and close to me of the household, both male and female, and the command of God has
been that they shall wear the robes. Everyone that is with me. That the men shall don the robes that I don and that
the women shall don the dresses similar unto my wife’s. And they shall live in respect of those robes, they can no
longer serve in the ways of man. No longer can they be a servant unto man, for now they become servants unto
God. The respect of the robe is not for the vanity of the flesh nor what man might say, for the respect of those
robes is unto the principles of the Son who came down into THAT VALLEY OF DESPAIR TO LIFT YOU UP. The
many things that I did in the past while I was with you have gone. The many things that I did to test you are now
gone. You are being brought out of the valley into the peak above. If you know me and you know the Father, you
have received the Comforter, but as I have drawn myself into the spirit unto my Father then you know that whatever
the words may be that uttereth forth from this mouth from this day henceforth shall be the words of God, none
other. And that God shall speak through me at all times and shall reveal unto those that are with me the THINGS
THAT I COULD NOT TELL YOU WHILE I WAS YET WITH YOU. But being exalted in the spirit of God, above the
valley, my light shineth down; and those who can see it, shall hear and know of the laws far greater than what
I have been able to tell you. Those who are not strong enough to understand will need drift away and follow
the masses, because they are not ready to serve the Father who sent me unto you. 16:5

But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? For there are none of
you who know whither I goest save that the little thoughts that I carried in the past which were of the earth, because
I dwelleth with man, have been dissolved and only the Spirit of God remaineth. From this day henceforth only the
Spirit of God speaketh through me. 16:6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your
heart. Yes, it is much easier, children, for me to be with you and among you on your level than it is for me to be in
the throes of God above you, and you must find me. That’s the difference. I came to find you. Now you are going
to find me. Now, weigh that in the depth that it is spoken, for no longer have I come to find you. I have foundyou,
but have you found me? Dost thou know me? For, if thou knowest me, thou knowest the Father, for I and the Father
ARE ONE. Now, findeth me and ye shall not find me in the valley for I’M exalted unto my Father and in my Father only
can you find me. 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the
Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. The Comforter is not a person. It is not a
form built in flesh, but it is form of Spirit, a higher intelligence, for as I exalteth myself unto the Father, my thoughts
are constantly being sent back to you who dwelleth in the lower planes. When you reach out your arms, or should
say your mind unto me, you receiveth the Comforter, for I am the Comforter. Being the Comforter, I give you the
wisdom that will help you reach up to me, but before I can give it to you, I must see your arms stretched out asking
to be pulled up. If there is a little hardship pulling you up, and perhaps there is a little pain attached to it, bear that
pain in silence, children for it is—You are very well rooted to the concept of the mortal and when I take you by the
hands to lift you up above that concept it is going to hurt because of how you have been rooted to man’s concept. It
is going to hurt in many ways. It is going to hurt your vanity, going to hurt your pride; it is going to hurt the ways that
you have been living which were the ways of man, but if you reach out your arms and beareth the pain, I SHALL LIFT
YOU UP FOR THE COMFORTER WILL COME UNTO YOU AND AID YOU IN BEARING YOUR PAIN, for you will
understand and in time you shall be exalted unto the right hand of me and thou shall knowest the Father in Heaven.

16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Now that does not
mean it will reprove man of righteousness and sin. It said He will reprove the world. How does it mean reprove the
world? For I’ve said, “In the laws of Nature is the answer to the Infinite, take time and study it well”. For the world is the
handiwork of the Son, whom God is the creator of. Thus the world is a law concerning God, but mankind is different.
Thus when I come to you, when the Comforter is sent unto you rather, and you are lifted up, you’ve reached your hands,
and you’ve called for the help, and you have been lifted up. You shall see the world in its true color, and you shall learn
to know that it was not bad. That the world was not sin, and you shall know why God permitted the mileposts of the
world to set a pattern for your development. So you shall be reproved the world shall be reproved of sin, which you
think the world is a thing of sin today, tomorrow you shall recognize it not as a thing of sin, for you shall have risen to
an understanding, But you shall recognize man, who has accepted the concept of the world and believeth it to have
been bad. So it is. 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me: So to reprove the world of sin because they believe
not on me. Now, one of you in reaching up, you look at the people of today and you condemn them for the way that
they think, or the way that they act, but when I have drawn you up—when you have reached your hands and I’ve
called you up into the greater light you shall look upon that fellowman and you shall have no more condemnation
toward him because he condemneth me, for I have reproved the sin in your sight. I’ve made you to understand that
it is not a sin, because they believe not in me. 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me
no more 16:11 Of judgment, because the Prince of this world is judged. Yes, the Prince of this world had been judged.
The groundwork, the foundation, has been laid, and mankind, because I have been with them, have judged me, and
they have branded me because they knew me not. They know now according to themselves who they think that I am.

They think that I have no spiritual powers. They think that I am a hypocrite. They think that I am one of the worst persons
on this earth. For I have willed for such a foundation to be laid. So that man couldn’t judge the flesh. Now that I leave you
and go back into the Spirit of my Father only those who know the truth shall rise unto me and the marker that shall be left
as a stumbling block before my fellowman is the marker that man has placed upon me and I have permitted it to be so. I
have permitted the adverse laws, the adverse thoughts to be planted upon me, that man might know the flesh and know
that the flesh is of the earth. Only the spirit of Man shall know me now, that I have risen above the flesh and the flesh is
no more a part of me nor will I need use it for the things to come. Now you must use, not the flesh to reach me, but you
must use the Spirit of God within you to know and to understand me. 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but
ye cannot bear them now. This is very similar to another statement when I said, “Friends, listen ye all. What I do, ye can
do also, and even greater things than I do now shall ye do”. Now I say unto thee as it is written here, “I have yet many
things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now”. You are weak, children. You cannot stand the simple tests that
the Son of God might place before you. How can you expect me, then, to give you the greater and the deeper laws
concerning my Father? I have much to tell you, but now, if you are going to sup with me, you must sup with me on a
higher plane that is free from the concept of flesh, for the Spirit of you must talk to the Spirit of me, and we shall know
God together. 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak
of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will shew you things to come. As I’ve said today,
having elevated, having left the world and climbed that mountain back unto my Father. Now when the Comforter, the
Spirit of Truth, comes to you as it is spoken here, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into
all truth”. For now, you can reach me only through the Spirit of Truth. As you search for that Spirit of Truth, all truth
shall be given unto you, and not once shall I be the Tempter or the Tester. 16:14 He shall glorify me; for He shall
receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Now when you rise and I have departed from you, HAVING GONE BACK INTO MY FATHER, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH,
daily I will send out spiritual thoughts that are truths themselves and when you have reached that truth and you search
for me, the truth that is spoken into your own mind shall bear witness of me and shall carry the thought of me and soon
you shall find me again. 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine; therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and
shall shew it unto you. All Things that God doth have, belongeth to me, children, and I am capable of using every law of
my Father for the betterment of you. I chose for a few short hours when in the darkness of the night I came as a thief to
find you, and I found you wanting, and I tried to lift you up as I walked with you. Now, I desire not to use that law again.
Now, I go back to the exalted throne from whence I came, and having gone back to that exalted throne, remember the
words that I have spoken unto you, “Be positive, be creative, be constructive in all you think, all you say, and all you do.”
Now I plead unto thee, “Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and all things shall be added unto you.” Seek ye first now,
the light of Truth that I have given unto you, and ye shall come and rest in my bosom. And ye shall know and have your
peace with God. 16:16 A little while, and ye shall not see me; and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I
go to the Father. The law seems to contradict itself, but NO, for a little while ye see me, for I have dwelled with you.
Then I go unto my Father, and for a little while, you will not see me. How long that little while is children, I cannot say.
I do not know. For it dependeth upon you how long that little while is. It may be a day; it may be a year, it may be a million
years. I do not know. For you saw me for a while; but for a little while ye may not see me. For as I have gone back into
the power of my Father In Heaven, I no longer become a part of the world as ye knew me before, and NOW YOU
MUST FIND ME. I know not how long it will take for you to find me, but I do know that YOU MUST LIVE THE LAWS
OF THE COMMANDMENTS. YOU MUST HAVE THE DESIRE TO ELEVATE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOVE THE
CARNAL CONCEPT.

You must dispose of the cloak of shame, of vanity, of ego, of hate, of malice, of envy, of jealousy, of the numerous
others before you shall find me again. NOW IT’S UP TO YOU, children. As I walked with you in the flesh, so do I
walk with you in the Spirit, but if ye knew me not in the flesh, how little less will ye know me in the Spirit? For, the
Spirit is higher than the flesh, and if ye cannot elevate yourselves above the flesh, how then can ye know the Spirit?
Then when you do see me, then when you do begin to live those laws and awaken yourself and rise above those
things which are negative, again you shall see me—this time for greater comfort. For as I go to my Father, when
you see me again, ye shall know my Father. YE SHALL WORK WITH ME. And then ye shall return with me for a
short time into the world to be the Comforter to the multitudes yet, who have not known me. Now, may the Father
bless you, guide you, and protect you always in your quest of Truth, in your journey. Amen.
