The Difference between Christ & the Boy Jesus – Krishna Venta, (Lecture, 8/31/1948)
It is a pleasure to converse with you again on the wisdom concerning God and His Son. I pray for more peace,
harmony, and understanding within your heart. I am not interested in your flesh. The flesh is of this earth, and to
the earth it must return. But it is you—the real you resting within that house—that interests me. The real you is
the cause that affects the body. It moves the body to do what the mind thinks. If the mind can be lifted up to see
a greater glory, then you will join with Christ. I love you very much; in fact, I love you more than you love yourself.
’Tis true, you are growing daily in the understanding of this strange, mysterious story of life. We know there is
more to each day than just going to work for a material living, then after a hard day’s work returning to our homes
to have our evening meal, a period of rest, and then in the morning going back to work again. There is something
more than that—else life would be rather futile. We know that Universal Intelligence created this entire universe.
When we look to the stars, the moon, and the planets, we see the grandeur of the heavens and know there is a
greater power. We search the universe for a better understanding. You are one of those children. You are not blind.
You are not a foolish child. True, you have been foolish in the past. Sometimes we all make mistakes. Sometimes
we like to be frivolous. Sometimes we like to act like little children. But to grow, we must cast aside our childish
thoughts and return to the more serious problems of life concerning the glory of God. I must return you for a moment
to the lecture I gave last Thursday evening—“Why Christ Is in the Flesh Today.” I did not complete the lecture, so
I am going to add a few more thoughts to it now. Christ, nineteen hundred years ago, appeared before the people
in the Holy Lands to break them from the bondage of the Roman Empire, which was taxing the people unto death.
He also destroyed their faith in idol worship. For at that time, the people believed in many household deities—many,
many gods. They prayed diligently to these idols. They even offered blood sacrifices to appease these strange gods.
When they wanted rain, they prayed to the rain god. When they wanted peace in their house, they prayed to the
god of harmony. These were not true gods. When Christ appeared to reveal that there was only one God, they were
wrought with anger. He was stepping on sacred ground because they did not believe in one God. How could one
God control everything? There had to be a god for the light, a god for the dark, a god for harmony—a god for each
condition. Therefore, one God could not control them all. When Christ said, “There is one God, Master over all things,”
it was difficult for them to believe. Yet they did accept Him after the Crucifixion. They saw Him after He arose from the
grave; they marveled as He walked among them for forty days. Through this, they began to believe and have faith.
The mission of Christ, then, was to reveal the power of one God, Creator of the entire universe—both good and evil
—as referred to in the 45th chapter of Isaiah, verses 5–7: “I am the Lord, and there is none else; there is no God
beside me. I girded thee, though thou hast not known me, that they may know from the rising of the sun and from
the west that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. I form the light and create darkness;
I make peace and create evil; I the Lord do all these things.” Certainly, we know there is only one Creator of the universe.
How could we create something that God has not produced? All we can do is reproduce that which God has created;
therefore, nothing is new under the sun. God, in His progressive intelligence from the very beginning, had to grow
and gain wisdom so that He could master the great ebon darkness of outer space and push it back so that the light
would shine. In doing so, He met with problems and made many mistakes. But unlike you, He disposed of those
mistakes and cleaved to the more perfect laws of Truth, and thus continued to expand.
We are in a category of life today wherein the negative laws are most predominant—only a few tiny seeds of positive
love abound, striving ever so hard to grow. Those negative laws exist in all conditions around us each day of our lives.
We are prone to accept them, very seldom rejecting them. Yet if we desire to find peace and happiness in this realm
of God, we must lift ourselves above what we are now and cleave to the great Truths. We must cleanse and purify
ourselves if we desire to rise into a greater glory. Nineteen hundred years ago, Christ revealed that there was only
one God. After His Crucifixion and the Resurrection, the people began to believe. Before that time, only a small handful
of people recognized Him as the Christ. They could not accept it. There was something impossible about one man
coming so humbly before them. There was something mysterious in the whole plan. He could not be. Why, was it
not true that years before, Elijah went up into the golden chariot and disappeared into the heavens? Did not Elijah
say then that he would return to the earth, and did he not say that he would come again as he had left? This is not
Elijah, for he did not come out of the clouds. This man was born here. That is the concept the people had. Why, he
just could not be the Christ! Yet after the Resurrection, when He walked among them, they began to fear that He
was, and they followed. Today, we have many churches throughout the world, all teaching the principles of Christ
and His Second Coming. Now Christ, when He was resurrected, said, “I go into My Father’s house, and I will return
again. When I return, I will reveal the Father to you.” Before this, He had revealed the Father to be Creator of all
things. This was not the complete explanation of the Father, but on His Second Return—which is today—He has
come to reveal His Father. Now, bear with me just a moment, and I shall explain the Father. You have received
education concerning the body, and that it is the house in which you live.
You have been taught that the house and you are two different parts. If they are two different parts, then how can you
combine them as one? When the body dies, the life departs from it, and the body returns to the grave. You know the
living, intelligent part of you does not go to the grave. Yet, you go to the grave to worship the body! This is the reason
Christ is here today—to reveal to you the Father. The Father is not a personal deity. The Father is not a form like man,
or an enlarged form of man. God is Universal Intelligence, and you are a part of that great Universal Intelligence. True,
you express in a lesser degree of understanding, because you are still in a little house called mortal. Above you is a
greater intelligence, which is yours for the seeking; thus, Christ in the world today is here to reveal to you the truth
of the house, and that you are the intelligence living in that house. Being the intelligence of the house, it makes the
house do what it thinks. When anything happens to the physical house, it is of your own making; because you are
the thought intelligence that controls that house. This arm could not rise without my thought telling it to. These legs
could not walk one step without the assistance of my thoughts. If my thought said I could not walk, my body would
not respond until my thought said so. The inner you is the master of your body. When sickness comes into it, you are
forced to seek a cure by calling upon doctors or visiting the health food stores. They give you something to remedy
the condition in the body, but they are not curing the cause. All they are doing is curing the effect. The body is the
effect, and the mind is the cause; therefore, the cause of everything is from the mind.
The trials and tribulations you undergo each day of your life are caused by mind. The mind produces them. When
you think people are talking ill of you, it is your mind that is painting the picture. When you accept these pictures,
you suffer an emotional upheaval. When the mind produces sickness and fights the body, the body can do nothing
more than express what the mind tells it. It is true that everyone develops sickness. It is true, your mental is supposed
to be master of the house; therefore, mind and body should be in harmony at all times. This is why the Great God
gave you an intricate nervous system, thousands of tiny little nerves that touch every part of the body; yea, these nerves
reach to every capillary, every organ, in your physical body, and send pulse impressions to the brain, whenever there
is something lacking. If you are in tune with the body, you will receive those impressions and immediately obtain the
necessary materials to restore it; therefore the cause will cure the effect, without the aid of anyone else. But we have
not learned to segregate the intelligence, the real “I”, from the body. We look upon the body. We judge mankind by
personalities. We recognize their dress. We accept the appearance of their flesh. We admire it, or despise it. We
draw our own conclusions from the flesh, and seldom know the inner person. Thus, Christ is striving to reveal to you
that you are an offspring of the Great Universal Intelligence. You are the controlling factor of all matter within you,
because your intelligence is the controller of the physical body. God is not a personal deity, but a Universal Intelligence,
therefore you are a part of that Universal Intelligence; and when you realize you are not the body, but the intelligence
existing within the body, then you segregate yourself from the material things. You segregate yourself from the
importance of flesh, and you begin to know God. You begin to draw upon the Universal Intelligence. O dear God, if
Thy children could realize and understand that Thou art a life intelligence, and if they could cease their personality
worship, then it is that they would be able to express Thy love.
The other day I mentioned that Russia in the next war would take over the Western Hemisphere, and someone came
afterwards and said, “But you said you did not condemn any personality, or any race of people.” Brothers and sisters, I
do not condemn anyone. I am not trying to reveal to you that Russia as a race of people is responsible for the overthrow
of the conditions in the world today. I am merely trying to express that it is a condition that exists within the minds of the
human being. There are lots of pagan followers throughout the world who believe in destruction, regardless of whether
they express in the body of a German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, American, or any other nationality. The intelligence
is either positive or negative. If the intelligence is good, it seeks after Truth. If the intelligence is weak and negative, it
seeks after the evil. Therefore, it is a condition in this world between positive and negative forces, not people, not
churches, not societies. It is a condition. Therefore, when I say Russia will take over, I am referring to Russia as the
seat wherein the pagan law of destruction is gaining a foothold. There are people in the United States who indirectly
serve the forces of paganism. You can also find them in every country of the world. Those who serve, lend strength
to the seat of power. It is not the Russian people as a whole, because in Russia there are people just as good as in
America. Some of them are as good as the best we have here, and some of them are as bad as the worst we have
here. However, in the U.S.S.R., we find the negative force is germinating rapidly. That condition of negative is also
spreading. We have people in the United States, not of Russian birth or descent, yet they are feeding that seed of
destruction. They are the ones in America alone who are upholding that principle of what is occurring from the foundation
of this growing seed. They are feeding it; therefore, it is not any country or race of people. It is a condition of negativeness
within the minds of man that overthrows the good that God has meant for mankind. O God, how long are we going
to sleep? Why is Christ on the earth today? To unite those few here and there into one group—those who are positive,
creative and constructive—so that they can begin to grow and expand within themselves and gain a strength that will
overthrow the destructive forces existing in the world. You are needed. God needs you, and I need you.
This is not a game of folly. I am not in the world to destroy mankind. I am not here to condemn nor enter into political
squabbles, nor interfere in religious misunderstandings of one church against another. I am here to assist them in
working together for good, for love, so that we can prove love to be the strongest weapon on earth. Since the very
beginning, a battle has raged, not between people, as much as between the positive and negative forces that exist
within the intelligence of the human mind. Thus, Christ in the flesh today is here to gather those few together to do
battle against that destructive element of the human mind. There are destructive people in America, people who would
overthrow America to any country, because they believe in destruction. Their minds are polluted with it. Are your minds
a part of that army? Do you accept the destructive propaganda and reject the laws of God? Awaken, children, awaken,
take heed lest I come as a thief in the night and I find you wanting. You are wanting. You are subject to personalities.
You have not learned to distinguish the intelligence from the body. Surely to goodness, if you have love in that mind
of yours, and that love is flowing forth, how then can your mind tell the body to destroy mankind? How can your mind
tell the lips to speak evil of others? The body is forced to express the mind; thus, what a man thinketh in his heart, so
is he. Praise be unto God, if I could just stand before you, and pour the pure essence of God into your hearts so that
you would join with me, not as a congregation, but as a force against destruction. Then, my works would not be in vain.
The seeds of love must germinate within your mind. Those seeds of love must gain momentum by finding others to
join with them. Then, in time, they will have the power to overthrow the negative. Bloodshed will not do it, children. I
think you know that. You cannot get rid of evil that way. Why? Because reincarnation is an existing truth. If you have
not overcome your laws in this embodiment, you must return to this world in another physical body and carry on
where you left off. Therefore, when we go to war against our brothers and kill them, we are doing nothing more
than changing the intelligence from one body to another.
To kill a person is to get rid of the effect but never the cause, because the cause is in the brain. Your intelligence is
the cause of every disaster; therefore there is a need for those who are positive, creative and constructive in their
own thoughts. Constructive love must strike at the root of the condition. Can you destroy the light of God? Can you
destroy life? No, you can’t. Life is everlasting. How can you take a gun and shoot somebody and think you are getting
rid of the intelligence? A gun cannot pierce the intelligence. A gun can only separate you from the house. Then, if
you cannot pierce the intelligence with blood-weapons, surely to goodness you have a stronger weapon. That
power is the wisdom of your own positive intelligence drawn from the Universal Intelligence. From now on, let us
strive to recognize God, not as a personal deity, but as the Universal Intelligence. When we learn this, we will not
place so much praise upon the flesh, nor will we feel the importance of material accomplishments. That is why I
wear a veil over my face. Man admires the personality. They judge by the face. You cannot see my flesh. Therefore,
personality must die, and the words of wisdom as they come forth from my mouth must live. Christ loves you. He
has to appear in the flesh, because man has not learned to segregate the body from the intelligence. Christ cannot
come to you as a spirit when you base everything upon the flesh. So, He comes again today in the flesh as He did
nineteen hundred years ago. He is of God, and the spirit of God flows through Him. Why? Because Christ is the
Second of the Trinity. First, we had God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Later in this series of lectures
you will be given the explanation of the origin of God. I will explain the Trinity—the Father, the Son and the Holy
Ghost. If Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God, it must mean He was created long before mankind. Being created
long before mankind, He had more chance to expand in His intelligence. He as an intelligence journeyed with the
Father, and gained the great Universal wisdom. Having obtained this wisdom, Christ became a Co-Creator with
God, and made man with a lesser degree of wisdom.
Accepting this as a truth, then Christ can also manifest Himself in mortal flesh. Therefore, He appears in the flesh today,
and not in a spirit form. He would appear to your intelligence as a spirit if He could reach you, but you would not accept
Him because you cannot understand the intangible. So, He has come in the flesh. Now, there is a great difference
between Christ and the boy Jesus. Christ, being the Second of the Trinity, is everlasting. He was the first to be in perfection
with the Father, yet He shall be the last to leave the earth. Why shall He be the last to leave the earth? Man must rise
before Him, because Christ is in the world—it is His project—until the last remnant of mortality has reached its perfection
then Christ will ascend to His Father. As man evolves above the mortal, other millions will take his place. After they have
reached their perfection, there will be millions more to carry on. For the tree of mortality must go on until every atom in
this earth evolves into a greater degree of its own understanding. Believe this, when you cast off the cloak of mortality
to put on the cloak of immortality, you do not take the destructive thoughts you have today with you. You leave them
where you found them, and the intelligence rises to a greater degree of understanding. Those beneath you now rising
shall pass over the same road you have trod. When they have mastered, they, too, will journey to a higher plane. So,
the ring of life goes on eternally. Children, you are not alone. It is a long journey into my Father’s greater mansions. If
you could look upon the pure essence of my Father, the flesh would be unable to retain the greatness of your intelligence.
Christ is second to the Father and can reproduce a human form at will, so long as His work is among men. My first lecture
was on man’s migration from the Planet Neophrates. Later, I shall explain the origin of man from the beginning. Man’s
origin did not begin on earth, nor on the Planet Neophrates. True, man migrated from the Planet Neophrates to this earth,
and the Planet Neophrates returned to the sun from which it came. This is almost impossible to conceive today, because
the scientists have not mastered outer space. When scientists can send rocket ships to Mars, then man will accept and
say, “If we were able to migrate to Mars in rocket ships, then surely it is possible that we did not begin our origin on earth,
but came from another planet to carry on a civilization.”
As I spoke of the Planet Neophrates and of man’s migration, I also mentioned Ademus. Ademus was Christ in the flesh,
on the Planet Neophrates. Christ remained to direct the rocket ships and their elect passengers to the earth. After they
landed, Christ appeared to the earth, again in the flesh, as on the Planet Neophrates, to lead the people. Since that time,
Christ has remained in the flesh on this earth. Thus, Christ has been in the flesh on this earth for many thousands of
years. There have been human beings on this earth for close to a hundred thousand years. We have no records to
prove this, because the archeologists and anthropologists have been handicapped. As the lime and calcium deposits
in our bones could not endure for that length of time, how then could a civilization be recorded? However, there is the
Hooly Beeble (phonetic spelling), which has the records of man’s migration from the Planet Neophrates. This record
is in the secret valley of the Meta Verdans. This Holy Bible reveals the existence of man’s rise and fall on this earth,
from the rise of intelligence to the first downfall, to the second, third, fourth and fifth downfalls. Now we are heading
for the sixth downfall of the human race. We need not be concerned at present. What we must worry about at present
is concerning Christ, so that we will recognize and know Him in our midst. This is the important thing. Let me take you
back to the time of Atlantis, when it went down into the sea some 36,000 years ago. At that time Christ was the leader
who led the Elect people out from this continent into a land where they were safe from the destruction of Atlantis. The
new civilization began to grow, and Christ disappeared, only to return a little later. He appeared many times to the
different civilizations, up to 2,000 years ago. Approximately 27,000 years ago, a remnant of the Meta Verdans left
Egypt, through the breaking of the Cela Verdans, a race of people that believed in destruction. The Meta Verdans
migrated from one country to another until they settled in northern India, in the Himalayas, not far from Mt. Everest,
and have remained there to the present time. The majority of those great masters of 27,000 years ago have gone
on to the plane of immortality, but we still have masters in the Valley, those of a later race who have reached material
perfection and have taken the vow to remain with Christ on earth, to go forth with Him and help the human race
survive destruction. Four thousand years ago Christ appeared to help the people out of slavery.
His mission accomplished, He went into the Valley. While in this seclusion, He took many universal journeys. Man, after
2,000 years, was again forced into slavery and bondage, so Christ had to reappear to them, which was nineteen hundred
years ago. You have heard the story and accepted it; you know that He was crucified, rose again, walked among the
people, and then disappeared. Nobody knew where He went. Some said He went into His Father’s house and would
return later. Many believe that the little boy Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, and that he disappeared at the age of
twelve, and went into training; then, at the age of thirty, he came out from his training to lead the people out of slavery
and bondage. This is also your concept—that Jesus was the Christ, that the Christ spirit came upon Jesus and he
became the Christ. You have accepted this. Yet, there is a story you must know, and you must come to realize that
the little boy Jesus was not the Christ. The little boy Jesus was of Virgin birth, but Christ was not born of the womb.
He can manifest in His own flesh. He does not have to pass through the womb. Here is a story that you must take
home with you that at the time of Jesus, when Mary was travailing in birth, there came from the Meta Verda Valley
three great Magis, or wise men. Christ sent these great leaders forth to reveal to the world that this night a little boy
is born, who will usher in the Savior of the world. Knowing this, Christ also called unto Joseph and said, “Take care
of this woman, and take her into yon city.” Joseph took her and went into the city. They went to Bethlehem, and the
little boy Jesus was born—but not in the manger. Many of you have the concept that Jesus was born in a cow manger.
You don’t know the history of nineteen hundred years ago. The keeper of the stable had a little room attached to the
stable, which served as his home. He had to remain in the stable to care for the animals. Therefore, he needed this
adjoining room. When Mary was rejected from the inn, travailing in birth, and had to be delivered, one of the keepers
took her by the hand, and led her along with Joseph into his little room.
Jesus, therefore, was not born in a manger with a cow standing over him. The boy was born in the little room of the
keeper. They stood around him and worshiped. At that time, three wise men—those same wise men who were masters
from the Meta Verda Valley—appeared in the name of Christ. They knew Christ; they had walked with Him for years.
They knew Him as well as you know your family, or perhaps better. Therefore, they obeyed what He said. They came
from the East. No man to this day knows where they came from, or what country they represented. They brought
frankincense and rich gifts to Mary and the new-born baby. Having come from the East, they spread the news to
the shepherds that this night a babe is born, and the shepherds followed and went in with the three wise men so
they could witness the christening. Three days later the little boy Jesus was taken before the Magi to be registered.
The Magi had been told by one of the great leaders that King Herod was seeking the child’s life, and that the child
and his parents must flee into Egypt for protection. They fled into Egypt accompanied by one whose name was
Simeon. Simeon was the Christ—known then as the carpenter’s helper who helped Joseph. He went with Joseph
and Mary to train the little boy Jesus. Christ trained Jesus for twelve years concerning the laws expected of him
when he appeared before the Magi at the age of twelve, to be classified. In those days, every child was classified
to his life vocation, at the age of twelve. They were classified according to their talent, and they followed that vocation
for the rest of their life. Christ revealed to the little boy Jesus what to say before the Magis, at the age of twelve,
and when the little boy Jesus appeared before the elders of the church, he astounded them with his great wisdom
and knowledge. He answered their questions, and in return asked them questions they could not answer, and then
turned to clarify their perplexities for them, because Christ had schooled him well. Mary knew about this, and what
was going to happen. After she left the city, she noticed that Jesus was missing. She returned to the city and found
the boy Jesus still conversing with the elders. She said, “Come, let’s journey.”
The little boy answered, “Dost thou not know that I must be about my Father’s work?” She departed without him, for
she realized that the hour had come for her son to journey into distant lands. Everybody knew of him and his teaching.
But he disappeared, and wasn’t heard of again until eighteen years later, when he was thirty. Eighteen years he spent
in the Meta Verda Valley, under the tutorship of Christ. He was one of the masters and followed in Christ’s steps. John
the Baptist, a cousin of the little boy Jesus, was also a master, having received his training in his early youth from Christ.
Thus, John the Baptist, when he came out into the world to teach the coming of Christ, had no fear, because he knew
the Christ, he knew that Christ was in the world and would appear before the multitudes. When John the Baptist was
teaching at the River Jordan, Christ came out of the Valley. The appearance of Christ has always been as a young
man around thirty or thirty-five. It is pretty hard to judge His age, because He has youthfulness as mingled with great
age. Christ came out and left Jesus in the Meta Verda Valley. He joined with the people on the River Jordan, while
John the Baptist was baptizing. John the Baptist said, “I baptize with water; but there standeth one among you, whom
ye know not: He it is, who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.”
The people all turned and looked about; yet saw nothing outstanding. When John the Baptist said, “This is He of Whom
I have spoken,” Christ stepped forth from the multitude to appear before them, and the glory of God shone in His
eyes, as He spoke a wisdom to the people. They did not recognize Him as Christ, but they said, “Surely is this not
the little boy Jesus? Remember, eighteen years ago there was a little boy about twelve, whose name was Jesus,
who was born of Mary, and protected by Joseph. Is this not the same one? Would he not be about thirty years of
age at the present time?” “Aye, he would,” one cried. So, they immediately went forth into the city and said, “Jesus
has returned! Jesus has returned!” They believed He was Jesus. He carried the Christ spirit, so they said, Jesus
the Christ. From that time on, He was known as Jesus the Christ, or, shorter yet, Jesus Christ.
Christ did not say He was Jesus. He never revealed this once. It was the people who said it, because they knew there
was a little boy Jesus, and that he would be about thirty, and they thought that he had returned. Everywhere the news
spread, “Jesus has returned!” As Christ came forth into the city to teach, they called Him Jesus. They heard His message,
and grew in their understanding. He never once said He was Jesus. In fact, thrice He tried to reveal otherwise. I want
to refer you to the Bible, to show you where there are little phrases that every one of you know, for you have heard
them over and over, yet they have not been clarified in your own concept. The first specific case is when Christ was
standing in the open market, talking to a multitude of people—publicans and sinners alike. A messenger came unto
Christ and said, “Thy mother and brothers are without.” And he answered, “My mother? My brothers? I have no brothers;
no mother. Ye are my brothers, and only God is my mother and father.” Therefore, He proved that He did not have
an earthly mother. Why should He reject Mary by saying, “I have no mother, I have no brothers?” Why should He
reject them—unless He was striving to reveal to the people that He was not Jesus, but the Christ. The second instance
occurred a little later when Christ was talking to the disciples. He came to Peter and said to him, “Whom do people
say that I am?” Why should He ask that? He knew. However, He was trying to question Peter to find out what he
would say. Peter said, “Some say Thou art Elijah; some say Thou art a master.” Christ said to Peter, “Whom doest
thou say I am?” He wanted to find out if Peter would say that He was Jesus Christ. Peter said, “Thou art the Christ,
the Son of the living God.” Christ looked at Peter and said, “Neither flesh nor blood can reveal that unto thee, save
the Father who sent Me.” Why would He say this? If He had been born of Mary, flesh and blood would reveal that
He was the son of Mary. But, He said, “Flesh and blood could not reveal that”—only God could reveal Him as the
Christ. The third time He tried to reveal that He was not Jesus was when the crucifixion took place. Judas betrayed
Christ unto the Romans, and Pontius Pilate passed the sentence of death and condemned Him to be crucified.
Jesus then came out of the Valley to be at the Crucifixion. However, he was known as John. Why was he known as
John? Jesus knew that if he said, “He is the Christ—I am Jesus,” all the people would have said, “You are crazy. He
is Jesus Christ.” So, Jesus remained silent and accepted the name “John”. Christ also knew this was the only thing
to do. If you will study this same John bowing at the cross beside Mary at the time of the Crucifixion, you will find
there is less told about him than anyone else in the Bible. John continued to remain a mystery, because nobody
knew who he was. When Christ was put upon the cross, He said, “Great God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” There
was a question even in Christ’s mind, because He wanted to help the people, and the people had crucified Him.
He knew it had to happen, but He wondered if He had failed in His mission. The Romans scoffed and said, “He
is pleading to God—He Who says He is the Son of God. He fears His God has rejected Him.” While Christ was
undergoing the Crucifixion, Mary and a man by the name of John were bowing at the foot of the cross. Christ
bowed His head and said, “Behold thy son.” The world believed that He was asking for compassion, and was
saying to the people, “Behold, look what they have done to Me.” He was not interested in the people there. He
was only interested in two that were bowing at the foot of the cross, and He bowed His head to Mary and said,
“Behold thy son.” Mary lifted her head and looked at the young man beside her. Christ tilted His head toward the
young man and said, “Behold thy mother.” They both rose up, and the young man took her to his home. You have
heard this story many times, but have you understood it? If Christ was the son, why, then, would John be the son
of Mary, unless Christ was revealing to Mary that the man named John was her true son? Therefore, John—who
was truly Jesus—took his mother into his arms and they walked away from the Crucifixion. Christ, after the Crucifixion,
rose again. He wasn’t dead. I will tell you the story about that some time. He knew the laws. Man could not destroy
His life. How could man destroy His intelligence—they couldn’t even reach it.
Man thought that by destroying the body that they could destroy the Christ. How foolish they were! How ridiculous it
was! They believed that they could destroy the intelligence by destroying the body, just the same as they believe they
can do today. Christ was the Creator of that house. How, then, could man take it away, save that Christ wanted them
to for a short time, to reveal a greater law? Therefore, Christ, after the Crucifixion, was able to take up His abode in
the same house, and appear before the multitudes. As He appeared, they didn’t even recognize Him. When they left
the city to return to their country homes, Christ walked among them, and questioned them regarding their thoughts
and they said, “Hast thou not heard? The Savior was crucified.” He said, “O, he was?” They did not recognize Him
as He stood in their midst. He followed them all day—until that night. Then, He took bread and brake it and gave it
to them, and they recognized the Savior. How can you know Christ today, unless you recognize the intelligence that
exists within the body? Judge the wisdom that comes forth from His mouth, and you shall recognize the Christ. He
remained with the people forty days, then disappeared. Some said He mysteriously ascended into heaven, unto the
Father’s throne. Some said they didn’t know where He went that He was there and then He left. That is a mythological
interpretation. Christ disappeared from their midst and returned to the Meta Verda Valley, there to remain in the same
embodiment unto this day. The little boy Jesus, who was named John by permission was later banished to the Isle of
Patmos, there to bear testimony unto the teachings of Christ, to write the Book of Revelation. The man Jesus, after
writing this Book, was returned to the city and set free from the Isle of Patmos, and disappeared from the people. He went
back to the Valley and remained with Christ, teaching the people, until three hundred years later. He then gave up the
spirit and went into my Father’s greater kingdom, putting on the cloak of immortality and casting off the cloak of mortality.
He had served his mission, and had no desire to remain on the earth. This message given to you is the true explanation
of the difference between Christ and the boy Jesus. Do not adhere to the man Jesus, for he was not Christ. Christ was
in the same flesh then as now—not in the flesh of Jesus—but in a flesh of His own. After the great tribulations of these
latter days now upon us, He shall again face a condition similar to the last, except that this time man will use sterner
methods. Man will crucify Him, in a way, but they will not allow the body to be taken. The learned men will say, “If He
is the Christ, let’s see Him get out of this.” They will cremate the body; yet, in three days Christ shall re-appear to the
people. How can man destroy Him, when He is the Co-Creator, with the Father, of all living things? Christ is the ever
living spirit of God. Now I have the right to stand before you in testimony of Christ and reveal that you must recognize
the intelligence and not the flesh. May the spirit of God rest in you. May you tell your friends, for I am with you but a
short time, until I go into other parts of my Father’s kingdom. I shall gather other sheep, and we shall work together.
May God rest with you. May the peace of “The Voice” be with you. May we grow to love one another, to know one
another, to work with one another. Now I bid you all good night and Godspeed. Amen.
