Symbols of the Khmer Rouge
Comrade Pol-Pot’s first residency after taking power was in the Silver Pagoda, hence
it’s been repurposed as a complimentary symbol in addition to the main flag; the black
vertical line behind the building is used to convey the past and what’s behind us as total non.
I remade the occupationist seal in the style of Democratic Kampuchea
The 17 stars represent the 17th which was liberation day in Kampuchea, they’re ordered like
a tree to represent our agrarian interest/an upward arrow representing the direction of the
proletarian, red is used to represent the worker’s struggle.
