Readers Questions & Answers – Angkar, 4/7/2026
Q. Is this a pro-Pol-Pot website/a pro-Khmer Rouge website?
Yes, though we personally oppose all government, however as Agrarians who
recognize, as Comrade Pol-Pot did, the need for Communists to oppose entrenched
urban bourgeois interests actively & thoroughly. We proudly & loyally applaud
the leadership of Democratic Kampuchea & the Khmer Rouge on that front.
Q. Do you believe in Agrarian Communism?
Yes, revolutionary potential is at it’s apex in the forest & in the field; a toil
that at once reflects a class consciousness in & of itself by virtue of labor
being tied to & directly dependent on what’s produced, likewise it also molds
the soldier for revolutionary struggle as to live on the land is to have some
understanding of survival with the land, & finally it forms the bedrock of
sincere proletarian interest in guiding Communism, as it cultivates familiarity
with the oppression of all land by capital.
Why promote someone like Pol-Pot when he “disavowed” Communism?
Comrade Pol-Pot was in an unenviable position throughout his period atop Kmher Rouge
politics, he denounced communism while being tried by his former comrades and scrut-
inized by world news. His denouncements, first in the early 80’s to cultivate a greater
anti-Vietnamese resistance movement during their imperialistic invasion & much later
in an interview with a journalist which was done to buy favor & adapt praxis to politics.
While we don’t agree with every aspect of his life Pol-Pot was a great leader for decades
in the people’s struggle & should be remembered as such
Q. Why do you host Christian content?
We host content that we feel the public is unlikely to encounter elsewhere which, as a whole,
conveys Angkar’s cause. Each piece can have a gem of wisdom or simply be something that
peaks our interest that day, we are anti-Christianity in most ways, yet recognize that a Christian
can have wise opinions which we’d rather present than not.
Q. What’s your stance on trans liberation & the liberation of POC?
Solidarity with all sincerely aiding the struggle of the overthrow of capitalism & the broader
oppression confronting us is of peak importance, the struggle for Angkar is the struggle for
liberation & self-guidance aiding all revolutionary causes, especially those of the unique
perennial struggle such that poc & trans people have faced.
Q. Why start the website on April 17th?
We launched in alignment with Kampuchea Liberation Day, the victory of the Communist Party
of Kampuchea over their Imperialist captors. Though there’s a much more significant war that’s
been repressed from the minds of people; which is the global common struggle against the elite,
Given the scale of change, this victory will always be an omni-present flashpoint in Cambodian
life. This date offers the tone we feel is appropriate to explain the war that afflicts all of us as
it continues to inspire bloodshed amongst the common people.
Q. Why feature people like Charles Manson?
Years ago when I was pen pals with Charles Manson in the early 2010’s a theme of our conversations
was societal suicide, the falling away of American society from causes of struggle like the mass strikes
of yester-year. I find some wisdom in those letters, he aided his moment & influenced the founding of ProvokeRevolt.com
Q. What would happen to the bourgeoisie/urban elite under Agrarian Communism?
They would be sent a mandatory invitation to a nice small plot of
the people’s land, set aside for their comfort at our convenience.
Q. What would happen to cities under Agrarianism?
Cities would be gradually lessened in priority & importance, not recklessly but
with planning & cooperation in the interest of greater co-habitation with the
environment, the lessening of the urban/rural tension, & the rearing of a more
Communist way of life which the distinctly alienated city labor is anathema to.
